Satie Mon Amour 

Quest’anno si celebrano i 100 anni dalla scomparsa di Erik Satie che è il mio autore del cuore da sempre. E’ quello che più ha influenzato il mio percorso musicale. Quindi ho deciso di festeggiarlo con voi realizzando un progetto che prevede concerti, la registrazione di un album con le sue composizioni più belle: Gymnopedie e Gnossiennes, affiancate però da mie composizioni che un po’ si riallacciano al suo stile e alla sua poetica. Ho composto anche un brano inedito che dà il titolo all'intero progetto: Satie Mon Amour è un Valzer tenero e malinconico, con un pizzico di ironia.  E poi ci sarà un video di animazione realizzato da Paola Luciani, una videoartista che ammiro molto per la sua creatività raffinata.

Ho deciso di affidarmi a “produzioni dal basso” per partire dal basso ma volare in alto. Infatti nel video ci saremo Erik Satie ed io che suoneremo insieme nel cielo…

Chi ha già fatto dei crowdfunding sa che chi partecipa riceverà in cambio una ricompensa e questa per me è la parte più divertente: mettermi lì e immaginare quali cose potrebbero piacervi e rendervi felice. Quindi non soltanto una copia del disco magari con una dedica speciale ma anche altri oggetti legati in qualche modo a Satie. Nella pagina qui a fianco potrete vedere tutte le ricompense che ho pensato per voi. 

Satie per me non è soltanto un compositore.  E’ un maestro, una guida, un compagno di viaggio. Mi ha insegnato e mi insegna a guardare il mondo con occhi diversi, a non aver paura dell’inaspettato, a stupirmi dei dettagli.

Di lui mi conquista sempre la sua leggerezza che però è profonda o per dirla al contrario la sua profondità che però è leggera.

Satie Mon Amour 

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Erik Satie’s passing, and he has always been my heart’s composer. He is the one who has influenced my musical journey the most. So, I decided to celebrate him with you by creating a project that includes concerts, the recording of an album with his most beautiful compositions: Gymnopédies and Gnossiennes, alongside some of my own compositions that somewhat connect to his style and poetry. I’ve also composed an unreleased track that gives the entire project its name: Satie Mon Amour is a tender and melancholic waltz, perhaps with a touch of irony. Then, there will be an animation video created by Paola Luciani, a video artist I admire greatly for her refined creativity.

I decided to rely on “crowdfunding” to start from the ground up but aim high. In the video, Erik Satie and I will be playing together in the sky...

Anyone who has done crowdfunding knows that those who participate will receive a reward in return, and this for me is the most fun part: imagining what things you might like and what could make you happy. So, not just a copy of the album, maybe with a special dedication, but also other items somehow related to Satie. On the page here beside, you’ll find all the rewards I’ve thought up for you.

For me, Satie is not just a composer. He is a master, a guide, a companion on my journey. He has taught me and continues to teach me how to see the world with different eyes, not to fear the unexpected, and to be amazed by the details.

What always captivates me about him is his lightness, which is actually profound, or, to put it another way, his depth, which is still light.
